Stick around for the fun.

This is where developers and IT pros who want to bridge the gap between development and operations will find a like-minded community. You'll explore articles, newsletters, blogs, podcasts, and forums on the business applications you're passionate about designing and deploying. We're picking up that banner that Microsoft has been waving called the Dynamic Systems Initiative (DSI). In a dynamic system developers "think outside the spec" by considering operational issues before the app is deployed. In a dynamic system IT pros creatively and proactively drive business value through technology. We'll be covering development of Web apps, server apps, and client apps, focusing on how application creation can smoothly and efficiently mesh with the IT infrastructure.

We'll be leveraging the technical knowledge from the team at Windows IT Pro to help bridge the gap between application development and deployment in the workplace. There is a mightly backlist on developer topics such as scripting, .Net Framework, ASP.NET, PowerShell, SQL Server development and much more. Plus, Scott and Sean will be fostering exchanges of ideas on topics of current interest to both IT pros and developers--such as virtualization--and we'll be bringing over that great developer community spirit from the old MSD2D site.

WindowsDevPro does away with the siloed approach--developers in their cubes coding apps, IT pros deploying those apps across the business, with very little interaction between them. If developers are one circle and IT pros are another circle--WindowsDevPro is the sweet spot in the Venn diagram where the two circles come together. Hey, it's better together.

We'd love to hear from you. Developers and IT pros--come forth from your silos and let us know what content you want to see on WindowsDevPro. It's your site.
