Microsoft Announces the WebsiteSpark Program

Microsoft announced the launch of the WebsiteSpark Program, a new program designed to help business development for Web professionals. As the latest program in the ‘Spark’ family, including BizSpark and DreamSpark, the WebsiteSpark Program provides eligible Web professionals with design and development software licenses, server production licenses and free training and support, with no up-front costs. In addition, the program will offer Web professionals access to a broad marketplace that enables them to connect with prospective customers and promote their offerings in Microsoft marketing vehicles, on a portal available later this fall. Microsoft partner Marc-André Francart, founder and Artistic Director of I-breed.com says,“WebsiteSpark is the kind of thing we couldn’t have imagined better, it provides us with everything we need. We are rather a design studio than a Web agency, working on both media, print and Web. We know the Microsoft Expression tools very well – especially Microsoft Expression Blend that we’ve use since it’s version 1 – and the WebsiteSpark Program is a perfect compliment as it give us access to everything we need to build end-to-end solutions for our customers: from the server to the tools, and also the technical support.”  To learn more about the WebsiteSpark Program, including who is eligible, visit http://www.microsoft.com/web/websitespark or http://www.websitespark.com
